Default USDM Cluster with JDM Harness

I have searched around but I am not finding anything similar to this issue I am running in to and hoping someone here might be able to shed some light on it.

I am attempting to put a 05 USDM STI cluster in a '01 JDM dash and harness.

The right and center plugs fit perfectly but its the plug on the left of the cluster is giving me issues. It is not the same plug type.

I am wondering what people have done about this. Should I see if I can get a cut plug from an 05 STI and merge it to the JDM harness?

So, it seems like the JDM plug is the same as a WRX plug. Can anyone verify this?

I can verify that my jdm cluster plugs directly into my 05 wrx dash if that helps.

It depends on the year STi cluster you get. If you had an 04 STi cluster it would work.
