Default 03' JDM EJ205 ----> 02' USDM WRX swap issues!

Hey Guys,
So I have a 2002 USDM WRX with 250k on it... bunchve stuff was failing so I just picked up an 03' JDM EJ205 I think V7? Clip... with ~30k Miles on it... swapped everything over, including repinning the AVCS wires..
when we go to start the car I can hear the fuel pump prime, and the motor tries to turn over but doesnt sound like it sparks. If you cover the throttlebody inlet partially with your hand it gives a stronger effort, but still will not run. Tried both USDM and JDM ECU's with same result. Only code its throwing is the "TGV" code. From what I understand even if these sensors are not working properly, the motor should still run fine. In terms of the clip integrity, the Seller took a video of the clip starting up and running just before he packaged it.
Trying to figure out what the next step in trouble shooting is.
Would appreciate any suggestions.

mainly , I followed the AVCS wire up the same as the V7 EJ207..which is all I've been able to find wiring diagrams/pinouts for ... I figured it must be the same being as though even though mines a 205, the 207 has only 4 different wires...so i figure this must be the same... anyone know this to be untrue, or have jdm ej205 specific info?
