Default Suggestion on upgrades

Hello all; need some input on some upgrades with exhausts. I would like to like some more horses but do not want the attention of the noise (just do not want to be heard coming from miles away); so is the best avenue to upgrade:

option 1: header/up pipe/down pipe/ stock Exhaust (or SPT exhaust) and would I be able to use the Cobb AP Stage2 Map?
option 2: header/up pipe/down pipe/ *keep looking for a not so loud exhaust*

** if so would you guys have any suggestion on some not so loud exhausts?

ps; I already have Cobb AP

You need to research some before deciding on modifications. For instance, you don't gain anything with an up pipe with 2008+. If you're worried about noise just stick with stock or get an SPT exhaust though I find them 'too quiet'. Borla hush is another one that is suggested for people looking like you are looking for with regards to more stealthy.

I'd just get a downpipe and a protune and see how you feel about things from there. Then research and see what you next want. I'd suggest swaybars, endlinks, downpipe and a protune if I were you. Call turninconcepts for advice on what swaybars and endlinks to get, they did a great job steering me in the right direction.

Good luck.

P.S. The downloaded 'stage 2 map' would work with this, but from personal experience the difference between a protune and a downloaded standard map is night and day.

You got some reading to do, man. If you already have the AP, read the map notes and that will tell you what you can and can't use. It will tell you if swapping in a header and uppipe is still under the Stage 2 parameters. If not, you will need to get a pro-tune/e-tune (whatever you want to call it) specifically for your car and its mods. Why not start with just a downpipe and the stage 2 map?
