You should get a protune if you pp your wastegate. rocket rally is the best place for that. I would call them.

Sorry guys. I understand rocket rallys "quality" but not gonna go there. Not gonna turn this thread into another debate over rocket rally and it's pricing. I'm not knocking RR. Great shop. Very impressive tunes. Reliable but the price they ask is not my cup of tea at all. So with that said, I have a tuner I will see afterwards. I just need a shop that will port my turbo locally that is not rocket rally. Thanks

They're one of the few local options, though I agree, shoulsn't be a grudge match.

I came to chime in not about porting but just to say, Keep in mind, RIGHT after you port, you should tune. Your OTS maps will be horrible for it if you don't.

Other than that, you just craving power?

I believe CTS Turbo - http://www.ctsturbo.com/ in Langley ports turbos. They primary work on European cars but it wouldn't hurt to give them a shout.

Rocket actually told me I wouldn't require a pro-tune after getting ported.. but that was from a guy that no longer works there so who knows.

I think I am going the external waste gate route anyways because I don't want to permanently alter my OEM turbo, then I will get a pro-tune.. Arthur who is your tuner just curious? RG?

I think ADP distributors in port kells might port turbos as well
604-888-3726 ask for Scott Sutherland and tell him Stewart from Kiewit gave you his number

I went with the EWG route as well in lieu of porting the turbo. If you have any questions let me know (still working out kinks in my setup)

Thanks Diggy. I'm totally craving power. Im going for the stealthy quiet sleeper look and since the kids gonna be quiet, I'm staying with the stock exhaust

My tuner is a man named Dom, who is not the same one from Fast&Furious but he is I think even better. I gotta cross the border to see him

I've considered porting my intake to match the cylinder heads, so I can't imagine a turbo being much harder. As long as you take it apart and pull out the moving pieces, you could probably do it. Come on, where's that can do Polak attitude? :P

How much benefit is there to porting a stock turbo? I know porting the wastegate helps with boost control as long as you don't over port it.

Pretty sure your tuner ports turbos as well, have you asked him for a quote yet?
