Default Same friend with another car problem (GMC)

So, my friends are having problems with their 2006 (or 2008, she doesn't know) GMC Colorado. Apparently the driver's side window no longer rolls up.

(they have really bad taste in cars... she drives a PT Cruiser... )

Looking for a reputable, cheap place to send them to. East Valley somewhere.

tcouty87 - is that something you can help with? Last thread about this car, you said you could go out and help. But I don't know if windows are part of your skillset.

Thanks, guys.

im guessing it has power windows?

its probably the window switch or the window motor behind the door panel inside the door. ive replaced quite a bit of GM window motors in my day.

fletchers tire and auto is an ok place, I used to work there, they have all kinds of coupons and discounts out there. I worked at the one on 67th happy valley and the one on carefree hwy. the other ones im not sure about being good. I think there is a fletchers on the east side.

That would be my guess.

I'll pass along the Fletcher's rec, thank you.

This couple, they're both useless at cars, and they've had to dump a bunch of money into both cars lately (possibly more than needed due to the husband being... well, a boy who's not great with cars), so trying to help them out.

Hi the fix is really simple...they could even do it themselves if they've got some basic tools...It's not worth taking it elsewhere since it can easily be diagnosed and fixed...I can point you in the right direction if you'd like

I'm pretty sure they don't have tools, although they do need it on the cheap (I just remembered that boy is now unemployed). Neither of them is technically inclined. :/

If you've got a relatively easy click and go thing (I can parse, but I'm not sure they can), I'm all (virtual) ears.
