Default cobb ap won't read test conectors

Hello, I recently tried to install my ap v2 and when I co nested the white clip it told me to install under the steering wheel I was also instructed to connect the two green connectors to put it into test mode. Well I noticed that they were already connected and the ap won't read that it's connected. Has anyone had the same issue?

I think Cobb has a youtube video about how to use the AP.
