Default (2008+ STi BBS) Wheel Locks

Hey all,

I just picked up my 2013 STi and ask I park many weeks in Philadelphia side-streets, I wanted to pick up a set of wheel locks (yes, yes, I know that it wont help THAT much but if I can deter just one miscreon, its worth it for me)

I recently purchased these Subaru OEM Wheel Locks (http://www.subarugenuineparts.com/pr...oducts_id=1278) as I understand McGard is the manufacturer.

As I ripped open the packaging, I noticed that the manual says "Not for use with steel wheels". This is a problem considering the BBS are forged steel.

Since I am already out $23, I want to get the right wheel locks that are steel-compatible but I am having a hard time finding that. Am I that bad at the internet?

Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!

Bbs wheels are not steel, they are forged aluminum. I will happily take those off your hands for just shipping to ny, lol. You should be good to go, just make sure they are the right style lug nut for the bbs's.
