i am currently swinging 7800 rev limit so i think im gonna go back to 8000. my mechanic vouged that the head is capable of this as he himself opened it up before during the build. the ports and cams seem the same as the ej207. if anyone have any thing to share plz feel free !

Dunno if the springs are the same though. ports and cams won't dictate safe redline, just how it breathes.

What you need to know is:
1) are they shimless buckets (if so, you're good)
2) are the springs the same (if so, you're good, if not, you should probably keep the redline lower.)

If shimless you are good till 800), but depending on boost you may or may not get valve float, all I know is that stock 207 v8 heads with +1mm valves don't like 9500-10000 for to long
