Default COBB stage 3 question!

So I bought my injectors, buying my vf39 and STi top mount. I have a 2004 wrx.
Will the turbo just bolt right on?
Do I use my normal restrictor pill or STi restrictor?
Will the STi intercooler need anything? Like the y pipe or is the wrx fine?
Thanks ahead of time, I'm a scoobynewbie!

when i did my vf34 upgrade, all i did was the following...

STi pink injectors
VF34 turbo
Walbro 255 pump
COBB reflash

i already had the downpipe installed from stage 2. i never touched the restrictor pill. and my buddy who did the same set up i had, but with a larger turbo xs intercooler never touched his pill either. you may wanna just grab some better silicone hoses for the intercooler, but im not sure if the WRX ones are interchangeable. they might be, just the intercooler itself is larger, not the plumbing. and the turbo should bolt right up, like any other IHI VF series meant for a subaru should.

Okay, and I didn't see in the map notes on cobbs website for a bigger fuel pump? It just says STi intercooler or equivalent, vf39, and STi pink injectors. Wouldn't the fuel pump throw off the tune? And you didn't get a bigger intercooler, did it effect the tune?

After I swap the turbo, injectors, and intercooler is there anything I should do before I start it?

I have read that you should take out the starter fuse and turn your key over to prime the injectors and get oil in the turbo? And a bunch of crazy things like that. I just want to do everything right to avoid trouble shooting via engine swap!

Also, any tips before I start the swap? Like tips for putting the injectors in, turbo on, etc. every comment is highly appreciated!!

You would do much better searching, as we can not tell you every aspect of installing (x), pulling (y) and various other ****.

For real........if you search you will find walk thoughs, pictures, and just about every other form of documentation.

Google search
Search nasioc
Search youtube

No offense but this newbie bull**** threads get tired as they should be in the newbie section. If people would stop spoon feeding threads like these they would get no replies and locked. Search for this **** guy, it will pay off in the long run
