My Aluminum radiator lasted 4 years.
You would think that because it has aluminum endtanks it will last a long time, but it springs a leak in the fins section.
It does have increased capacity, which helps with the cooling but adds couple pounds at the tip of the nose of the car and makes it impossible to do a timing belt without removing it first.

coolant conditioner?

dude go to your local auto parts store and fill with 50/50 coolant. done.

NOTE: you may have to trim your radiator hoses SHORTER to compensate for the larger radiator

Got the radiator put in!
Had to trim the hoses to get it in there good but other than that not a problem. Still in the process of getting all the air out but I think it went pretty well.

I just had the same thing happen... I'm thinking GMS as well. Does the stock radiator cap work with it?

It came with a cap. I didn't even try the old cap to be honest.

Keep oem cap on reservoir next to turbo and new one on the radiator if it allows.

Sadly the insurance totaled my baby due to hail so all that work is gone to the wayside.

So, the RAD and upper and lower hose are for sale now. Check the FS Classifieds or PM me.
