I've owned several wrong-wheel-drive sporty cars in the past. At first, they were all fun, but at the end of the day, I grew frustrated with each and every one of them. You get wrong-wheel-drive because they're cheap and more fuel efficient (less drivetrain losses) than AWD and RWD. You do not get wrong-wheel-drive because of its driving dynamics, no matter how many electronic Band-Aids are there to help you.

I see the likelyhood of me getting another NA MR higher than another FI AWD for a fun car. It just felt more alive and wild despite being incredibly slower. However, if I end up moving to any place with inclement, I would consider going AWD again. Probably go the NA route though. Don't need FI to have a good time.

Boy that sure is the truth. The last time I owned an Subaru (STi) was in 2008. I have owned and driven many different vehicles since then and I simply can't stand being with out a WRX/Sti much longer. Trying to hold out until the new model but not sure that I can. Wish me luck. There is nothing like them for the money.
