Pretty much the reason I asked for the board to make an allowance for this to be added to the rules. It has become a real issue the last few years. Using a permanent number, is one good way for people to get and keep sponsors. It is also a good way for the club to earn some extra cash flow too.

I've raced with the same number since I was a kid back in Florida. My riding gear has the number. I was told a half dozen people asked for that number at the event.
