Default Help with Coilover Install

Evening folks. First off, thoughts and prayers to anyone in the Boston area. Crazy stuff going on and hope everyone in the area is safe. Been watching the news and looks like they finally caught that last suspect!

So trying to be a little more proactive with my 2011 with regards to installing parts. Learning more and more and my next install is coilovers. However, I've never done a suspension install and would like the guidance of someone who has. Of course I have no problem offering some sort of compensation for your time as of course time is, well, money, and your kindness in helping me deserves something in return (food, beer, some Washingtons ). If you have the free time and wouldn't mind helping out a n00b installing his coilovers, drop me a PM and we can discuss the particulars. Don't have a problem coming to you (preferred anyway as I don't have much in the way of tools) and have a few open weekends coming up so whatever might be convenient for you. Thanks and have a great weekend.

So the gentleman who was supposed to help with my install today cancelled on me 2 hours before we were to meet up. I know this is last minute so I'm not expecting any miracles but anyone available and up for helping me install my coilovers today? Whatever time works for you and I'll drive to you (throw in lunch, some cash, whatever). Was hoping for today as I have my alignment tomorrow and other suspension parts installed tomorrow and would prefer not to have to cancel those appointmens. I hate asking last minute but I'm in a bit of a pickle, and I don't feel comfortable tackling this on my own. Any help would be super appreciated. Thanks community.

You looking for someone to do the work for you or are you looking for someone to teach you how to do it?

Your post isn't super clear

I can help Monday thru Thursday during the day at my house. It would help if u had tools cuz mine are at work and may not be able to get them somedays unless u give me a ride. I just lowered my car and am a mechanic.
I would do it with u and teach u (just swapping in coilovers is easy cuz u dont have to use a spring compressor or swap any parts) for lunch (there is a great pizza shop close by) and a case of Sam Adams spring mix.
PM me in Worcester, MA

You're right it wasn't. My apologies. I was looking to learn, not pay to have someone do it for me. In the past that's how I installed all my parts. Trying to take a more proactive approach with car instead of having other people do it for me this time around.

Appreciate the offer but ended up doing it myself yesterday. Probably was the longest coilover install in history and definitely screwed up quite a bit, but oh well, chalk it up as a learning experience. Thanks to everyone who offered to help. I'm sure I'll need it again in the future.
