Default Perrin Inlet to stock BOV - issue

I'm trying to finish my WRX swap and it came with a Perrin Inlet hose.

I decided to leave the perrin inlet on the motor. I then found I was missing the stock BOV recirculation hose so I ordered that because I'm running the stock BOV. So tonight I removed the plug that was in the perrin inlet and tried connecting the BOV recirculation hose to it and it won't fit.

Does anyone know if there is a adapter or something I can buy from my local autoparts store? If so, what size?

I have a Perrin turbo inlet with a stock BPV hose and it fits. Maybe it is snug since the hose is new. What is not fitting?

Mine looks like first picture below (I know it's a Evo inlet but anyways), there is no tube inside where the stock BPV hose goes. I'm not sure if I have a old version of the inlet or the previous owner of the motor just threw the piece away since they blocked it off. The stock BPV hose is smaller than the hole in the inlet

This picture below looks like it has a adapter piece already inside

Here is a picture of the plug that was in the perrin inlet, against the BPV pipe

You are missing the piece of aluminum tube that inserts into the inlet. You slide the tube half way into the inlet and leave the other half for the recirc valve hose.

Do you know the size of that tube by chance? My only thought is going to home depot to see if they have anything.

Did you try calling Perrin or the vendor you bought the hose from? I'm sure they would send you one.

I didn't buy inlet, it came already installed on the motor I purchased.

This picture below on Perrin's website looks like it's actually manufactured with the piece already in the silicone?

I guess I'm going to have to visit home depot to see if they have something. If I knew this was going to be such a PITA, I would have put a stock inlet on before I put this motor in.

I think you have a v1 of their turbo inlet. V2 has the molded-in BPV connection. Hope you can find a piece to make the connection. If not I guess a new turbo inlet is coming your way.

Hmm, you could still give Perrin a call. Tell them the situation, and I'm sure they can give you some sort of clue, or be able to sell you the correct piece.
