Default Just Bought My WRX !!! Questions...questions...questions....

Hey Everyone,
Just wanted to say hey to the forum. I just bought a 2002 Silver WRX Wagon. So if you see a silver wagon in good ol' Ft. Collins, going wayyyy....too fast, its probably me.
Also, is anyone in this forum from Ft. Collins or the surrounding area ? I saw a nice Silver WRX wagon with a nice setup with custom exhaust go by me.
Another question for ya ? I am at about 1000 miles, should I change my oil now or wait for 2000, or 3000 miles ? Also, should I change the oil every 2000 miles because of the turbo ?

If it was my car, I'd change it now, and I'd change it to synthetic oil.

I would change it now, at 1000. But there's no reason to change it at 2000 just because of the turbo, that doesn't have anything to do with it. If you get regular oil, make sure you change it ever 3000, and if you get synthetic, I'd change it no later than 6000. Either way, make sure you keep the oil level full, check your fluids regularly. Just take care of it and it will take care of you, and make sure you use the highest octane at the gas station, 91 I think. Have fun!

Hehe, try 93. Luckily I run low enough boost to not need it.
