I agree. You did a great job and you're the one who has to like it and stand out from the rest. Have your own individuality and let what others think brush right off your shoulders. Haters are gonna hate.....or be jealous! nice job though.

Looks kinda cartoonish, but I like it. It looks pretty smooth/even. I however don't like that windshield strip.

I'm a big advocate of plastdip. I love the stuff, and think your application looks great. I however do not like painted tails. It reduces visible light from the brakes and creates a potential hazard. Props for doing your own thing!

looks great. I have a silver 98 legacy gt that I am going to plasti dip white in the next couple of weeks. I feel like its a good alternative to repainting a car and spending tons of money when the dip looks great, its inexpensive and if you dont like it, it comes off. one question though, have you washed it since you dipped it ?

I have not washed the car since I plasti dipped it. I just did it this past weekend so no need to wash it yet. Also when will people realize that if it is NOT your car than why worry about what others like myself do to them? It is MY car and I will do what I want with it. If you dont like it that is YOUR choice. Like I said before I will continue to do what I want with my car. Thanks!

I agree! I've heard some people say washing it wears it off but some people say otherwise.

I had done my car flat black last year with plastidip and i went to the car wash and pressure washed it and it did not peel it off then. I did however find out from experimenting that if you go to a car wash that has hot wax you can get really close to the dip and spray it and it WILL peel it off so dont do that lol

looks good. I would just comment that if you do more (like rims, wing, etc.) it might look even better.

Hit your headlamps with the sylvania headlight restoration kit... works wonders and has a lifetime warranty

the rain x is crap. So is the mothers. Sylvania is the only kit I found that had a UV coating you apply after you polish your lenses

I approve of the plastidip. You can always remove it and paint it some other color. Since you have access to a paint gun, this is all realistic.

When you peeled off your previous black dip, did it damage the paint at all? You said you had it on for a year. Any holes or nicks form or discoloration for the year you had it on?
