Unhappy repairing a 2006 LGT 5EAT

I bought a beat up '06 Legacy GT Limited Wagon 5EAT real cheap, and it's in my garage right now.
124k miles. all stock.
The differentials and transmission are in good shape.
VF40 blew up on the way home.

I know there have to be some people with tuned/rebuilt 5EATs here.

I really need to get this car running, strong and reliable.
target is 275-325 hp / 275-325 ftlbs tq.

Any helpful advice is appreciated. Let me know if I'm missing something crucial.

So far, I've got these parts:

IHI VF52 Turbo + oil feed line upgrades [need to buy new OCVs]
cobb AT DP and UP
Perrin inlet tube
AVO TMIC
Turbosmart BOV
Cobb eBC solenoid

Planned:

protune
k&N drop in filter
stoptech stage 2 brakes
magnaflow catback
whiteline swaybars endlinks and braces

maybe, but unsure, not enough data, etc.:

new motor, re-port heads, new headers
valve body upgrade on 5EAT transmission (Hex or IPT?)
torque converter upgrade on 5EAT
bigger injectors [deatschwerks] and fuel pump [walbro]
coilovers

The steering pump also needs rebuild/replacement, along with any other steering maintenance that may be needed from this bad pump.

Any thoughts on where I should go with this build? I am most curious about the valve body upgrades.

I don't want this car making stupid power because it will be a family wagon but I want it to be fun and fast.
