I thought that might be the one. If I ever see a subie sitting up there n the future I will have to stop by and introduce myself.

Look foward to seeing the new ride

The subi Im going to look at this weekend is tuned with open source. Is there any one in our around Springfield who would want to help me getting to know Oren source a bit better if I get the car? I'm used to handheld tuning not so much with open source.

Its a little harder with open source to gauge if tuned properly. If done by a reputable shop you are good. If a Joe schmo then 50/50. If you have a data logger and tactrix cable then ya could go for a quick ride and log how motor is acting to loads and such. If it runs smooth no hickups back fire ect, you should be good. As afr play a big role in how motor is setup and running.

Well apparently he works at a tuning shop that tunes subies and evos. I was told its a very conservative tune from he's telling me.

Hey everyone,

I, too, am located in Peoria. I was driving around today in Kickapoo and other neighboring areas trying to do some Accessport/Virtual Dyno logging. I would love to meet up with fellow subie owners down this way.
