Default HELP wicked popping sound????

When the wheel turns the spring rotates. The spring seems to be chatting and then popping sounds wicked. So any help I was told that i need to Lube the polythene or whatever bushing on the top of the strut that the spring sits on. I was told that I should of used some lube but was not given any with my coilovers.
Thanks JL

I don't know.. generally the first thing I check if there are popping sounds only when you turn is the axle.

Question

This may sound silly, but is the spring seated correctly? My only concern with the 'lube' idea is that any grease is going to pick up quite a bit of crap from the road. I've never had to grease spring perches before. However, I could see how it would help.

What coilovers do you have?

Welcome to the world of coilovers. They pretty much all make that noise, unless you get the really expensive ones.

even "really expensive" coilovers do it. either learn to live with it or get rid of them *shrug*
