I cross the line in 4th at 6800rpm. The 3.9 RA box is just a little short for drags but is a good gearbox for the street.

Cheers Mike

The car has done over 150 passes, I'm just pushing the limits of a stock engine and small turbo. Once it runs 11.5 I will park and start running my bugeye. The bugeye has a VF30 and E85 and has run 12.6@110mph. I have a built 2.5, 6 speed and Dom 1.5 ready to in, hopefully that will push the bugeye to 10.9 quarters.

I'm thinking of hooking up launch control, but was thinking of using the handbrake switch instead of the clutch switch. Is there a downside that I'm over looking?

Go with a line lock. works good for the power were pushing and doesn't hurt as much as an trans brake

I'm not sure how the manual trams would go with the line lock setup. Thought I could use the handbrake switch as I hold it on too slip the clutch, then drop it on the green, but I don't let the clutch all the way out straight away so it stays on the 2 step. I have cut a 1.63 60 foot like this but wont to use launch control for more consistent 60 foot times. My 11.6 was with a 1.69 60 foot.
