Default 2008-2013 WRX Hatchback reflector LEDs

I've received a lot of pms regarding this. So I figure I'll cite my sources + show where I ordered mine from.

eBay: http://www.ebay.com/sch/m.html?_odkw...at=0&_from=R40

Original source of info: http://www.iwsti.com/forums/how-inst...r-install.html

1 hour, easy install.

This reflector works also on new Forest and new Legacy (same size).

How does the brightness and color compare to the oem tails? Looks like maybe not quite as bright, but close?

Hey OP, I'm located in the Mountain View area as well; right around El Camino and San Antonio Rd. Any chance we could meet up so you could show me how to mount these? The instructions on iwsti were a bit vague.

If not it's cool!

May have to do this, looks neat. I'm guessing just splice into the other wires?

Very tempting. Seems like a practical idea to give drivers behind you more of a heads up. Seeing that I was recently rear ended in my truck and my brother was rear ended a couple weeks later.

TRSAndrew,

Looks like the WRX and Crosstrek share the same part number for the reflector 84281FG000

very nice mod.. I like mods that most people wouldn't think wasn't OEM.. this looks like it should light up there.

What confused me though is the ebay aution OP linked to
"Subaru Impreza 07-11 Third generation"

07 is a very different car from 08-11.. and what about 12-14 which are the same as an 11?
