No, it says TYPICALLY in an autocross you will be assigned a worker position BUT this time you are exempt.

That is where the being exempt comes from.

In other words you do not have to work this time mainly because you are paying $50 which is a higher than normal entry for a normal autocross.

Probably should make two lines for entry, one for people w/o their ticket and purchasing at the gate and another line for people that actually have their ticket in hand.

I can believe this because of the price hike, but why would they put that on their main event page. Also, it does not say that you TYPICALLY work, but are exempt. It says, on their page specifically for the BigNW autocross, that you will be assigned to work like in a typical autocross. This is different than saying "Typically you are assigned to work".

The two statements are completely contradictory and unclear to people visiting the page. So until it is addressed by BigNW, it is still 50/50 because one says you DO and one says you DO NOT.

Again, straight from the BNW page for the autocross portion.

There should have received an email with the name "info" from the email address "info@bignorthwest.com" with the title "BNW 2013 Ticket" that contains the text

"YOUR NAME,

To print your BNW ticket, please visit:
http://www.bignorthwest.com/bnw_ticket.png?tid=

Be sure to print your ticket as we cannot scan mobile phones! Also, if your ticket is for multiple people PLEASE arrive together!

See you at the big show!

Thanks,
BNW 2013 Staff"

The link in the email you take you to your receipt that has your QR code for scanning and a list of what you have paid for.

OK, so you all have been warned!!
Aaaaaaand what if I have yet to receive that email? They have taken the money out of my account. I have the receipt. But not one email with my premium ticket purchase.

No worries man. Just been spending so much time on the road, sometimes I miss some of the emails that come in. Or I look at them and make a note to reply to them later, but forget to make a note to look at the note.

Great info. I would like to add something else. You can drive south and take the Narrows Bridge to get there, then take this ferry back in the evening. It will save you money going to the event.

On your return trip you will either have to pay for the ferry or pay to cross the Narrows Bridge ($5 without a good-to-go sticker)

Just a thought.

I just spoke with a very low person a few days ago who had taken a ferry. He said there was no problem and that they will adjust the ramps for you to make it on safely, you just have to let them know. Also you have to refuse using the second floor and it is probably best to tell them ahead of time.

Thanks again for posting the info!

Ok, whether it is contradictory or not the final answer is all BNW Autocrossers are EXEMPT from working.

This is the final word on the autocross portion originally posted on page 6 of this thread on 07/23/13 around 8am

Drivers meeting at 0845. Absolutely mandatory.

BNW will run with BSCC Sport2 (2nd run group of day). Starts at approx 1115. BNW drivers must be ready to run at 1045am.

Subarus will run in blocks of all Subaru cars, then all sport2 cars, etc.

BNW Drivers will be done by 1 or so. Of course, BNW Drivers are exempt from course duties.

Link to tech info and further info should be available at www.bignorthwest.com/drive later today.
They have even updated the website to say

But it looks like Big NW Meet has covered all this already, by the way thank you for all the information Big NW Meet!

Do you mean walking into the dealership and paying them there for a ticket? I am not sure but I doubt that would be the case, they are most likely just one of the main sponsors for this year?

The best place to get your ticket would be at http://www.bignorthwest.com/tickets

You need to print the barcode email that would have been sent after PayPal payment was complete. Check your spam or junk folder. It would be sent from a noreply. If not, forward the Paypal receipt email to info@bignorthwest.com so they can help verify the correct barcode. They should be able to resend a link to print.

The shirt design is never released before the event. Theyre always Subaru themed in one way or another, and rarely disappoint.
