I am preparing to do a aluminum control arm upgrade on my 02. I have two caster adding arms and only one rear large bushing. Can I use the wrx bushings or am I going to have to source another sti one? Any advice is appreciated.

They are transverse links. The rubber bushings may or may not be the same. It's not always easy to tell.

You have an opportunity to put new Group-N bushings, or get a Whiteline ALK for those nice arms. Why go halfway? If money is tight, then wait till you can afford it. Do it right the first time.
Save, scrape, whatever, but do it right the first time.

You can use your transverse links, but like I said, do it right the first time.

I'm with this guy. You have a great opportunity to upgrade the bushings in the mounts for much better steering response. I would do it. We have bushings that run the price range, but some are not very expensive at all and the difference in feel is amazing.
