The proposed route is also mapped out with a link earlier in the thread. The updated route is about 90mi and should take about 2hrs if you do the whole thing. We will start at Texas Motor Speedway and end at Babe's Chicken in Burleson.

10am we leave TMS' bus lot and around 12:30pm we should be at Babe's. This Saturday is just a test run so we may get lost or decide to change the route or get hungry and stop early, anything is possible but no worries this is only a test.

I'd love to make it, but I am planning on going to Cars and Coffee in Plano. How firm are you on leaving TMS @ 10? If you've got time restrictions, it's all good, but if you can wait until just a bit later, I think I can make it.

Let's see, C&C from 7:30 until 9:30ish, head over to TMS, probably in arriving between 10 and 10:30...

I don't mind moving the start time back to 10:30am, I will probably show up a little early and collect people as they trickle in. I didn't even think about cars and coffee being on Saturday too.

10:30am we are rolling out, if you are late too bad (try to catch us) and who knows where we will end up (hopefully Babe's) or when we will get there (hopefully lunch time).

I've been driving around for twenty minutes. Where it's the bus parking lot?

Edit for anyone who was concerned: Found it. I was just really, really early.

So how was the drive? I was not able to make this one, I hope to make the official final route.

The cruise went really well, there is only one small change we will have to make to the route to avoid some construction. We had 4 subies and an evo for the test run (all different colors) and we only missed one turn (pulled a quick u-turn and didn't lose any significant time).

The real run should be a blast.

The official cruise will be held on Saturday, June 29th and we will be leaving from the North West High School Administration building parking lot (the one by the stop light) just west of TMS on SH 114 at 10:30am and we will end at Babe's Chicken in Burleson at about 1pm.

I will post the updated final route later tonight and I would like everyone who is planning on attending to rsvp either in this thread, through pm, or via email: sgraff09wrx@gmail.com

This is the finalized route, there are 3 rally points where we will stop for a few minutes for gas, bathroom breaks, and/or to allow people to catch up. We will also stop by Motorsports Ranch for a quick look around (there are bathrooms there too).

The cruise will be on Saturday June 29th following the above route. We will be leaving by 10:30am and should finish at babes by 1:30pm.

I am looking to get a headcount so I can let Babe's know ahead of time.

8 people signed up so far, who else is up for a fun day and some fried chicken?

I'd like a rough head count by the 15th so I can get in touch with Babe's and get us some tables set aside.

Should we start a sign-up list?

i can't check from my phone now, but
it's useful to keep post #1 updated w/official info
so newcomers don't have to read thru every comment, like mine

Updated, a list of attendees sounds like a good idea I'll get on that.

Updated with a list of attendees. I updated the first two posts to have up to date information for people who don't like reading threads.
