Default Wheel noise

Hi
I have an 05 outback xt 89k miles
Over the past month at highway speeds i hear a humming noise coming from the front of car. So far ive checked:
-Bearings are good no signs of loosness
-All plastic covers are in securely
-Brakes are good
-Tread on tires is good

Any ideas? Its driving me crazy

Thanks!

Wheel bearings can go bad and not have any play.

Does the sound change/go away when you make a turn?
If so then it's most likely a bearing.

My bet is a wheel bearing.

My 08 wrx has same issue. But it gets a lot louder when I turn to the right.
