Oh no, your wheel and tire size is all sm legal you can go to 345. Its the turbo and not a oem bumper beam that bumps you up. I don't race for class either just top time or to beat my buddy.

Really? Hrmm gotcha. I was flipping through the rule book no my phone after you said that and saw that SM was up to 275? Perhaps I misread as it was after all on my cell phone and not on my computer.

I love that this thing is "under the radar" right now. When it's done it's just going to melt faces.

Well it may not be under the radar after this post... the one I've been waiting to post for months--not Forgelines fault, just mine for not finding a buyer for my wheels. Those finally sold, I ordered these asap and 3 weeks later here they are.

Only thing I have for size comparison... a donut. So basically I'll be riding on 12-14 donuts once I get the tires haha:

Thanks! And here's an update from today's progress:

Some engine porn for you guys below. I have all the cams in with buckets ranging in size from about 501-511 in size and the clearances are around .006 to .025 so we've gotta get proper buckets in but I did the initial measurements at least today after cleaning the block surfaces and putting the springs/retainers in on one head. Ryan did the other one a bit ago--so now we're just about ready to start bolting crap on this thing and dropping it in!

If my schedule allows I'll probably head back down tomorrow to work on it more.

Also once it's done uploading I've got a fun video to show you guys. Should be another 15-30 minutes

Update: I need four buckets and she's done but we Ryan doesn't have the range I need at the shop so we're looking to try and trade locally. I have mostly thinner buckets and need thicker: two around 519-520, and two around 529-530. I measured a 541 and 510 and took the median to figure out the higher ones and the 519-520 are a guess.

Anyway, that's that. I also picked up my friend's Cosworth Intake Mani.

Subscribed!! Car is coming out awesome! I am in the

Same situation with the flares, so I designed my own!
The angles come in a little from Liberty walk and rocket bunny FRS kits just not as wide. I will have a build thread up soon! If the demand is great I might just make more!

Turbo is fine in SM, Only thing I caught at a glance that bumps him up to XP is the bumper beam.

A general response to all who have subscribed... I apologize for the lack of updates but I have been busy with work and haven't had much time for the car.

Expect tires on and flares on the car with the engine in hopefully in < 1 month.

I'm not sure if I updated yet with this but I picked up my friend's Cosworth Intake mani which I know has pros/cons depending on application but I want the ability to expand my airflow down the road with a larger turbo. I've decided to just order the buckets I hopefully need so we can finish the engine since I'm having trouble finding the sizes I need for trade.

So far so good with them. Price for performance is why I went with them. I just didn't feel like dishing out an extra $1200 for RCE T2 w/ Vorshlag plates which was what I wanted to initially do, when they seemed comparable and even had swift springs.

Why such wide wheels and tires for an autox car? Kinda seems like overkill and too much unsprung mass to me. BUT, damn those are sick ass wheels. So beautiful.
