Default Aftermarket Fog Lamp.

I picked up a rock and broke my foglight. Anyone have a good aftermarket source. The lees modifications I have to make the better. The factory part is $168.99. TOO MUCH!

I'd say pick up some hella 500's and kartboy brackets but it's going to involve a little work. If you don't want to get your hands dirty looks like your going to have to give some $ to subaru for the original part, I know it sucks. BTW look into some anger management if you are picking up rocks and thowing them at your subie!

I found some OEM lamps from a wrecked WRX on ebay. Hopefully that will do it for me. Thanks everybody.

Lightbulb OE Bulbs

Does anyone know what bulbs the OE fog lights use? The manual doesn't list the type, just 12v/55w. I think they are H3 but want to verify.

Thanks

John

Where do you get your YellowStars at?
I stumbled upon them a few years back and happened to have an expensive "ion crystal" bulb. side by side they are indistinguishable...for less than 1/3 the price.

You guys have a nighttime pic of the hellastars?

I was debating getting the bulbs for those, and superwhite bulbs to replace all the headlight and turn signal bulbs, until I have enough cash for HIDs....

Now say I wanted to put an aftermarket fog on. Is there a company out there that makes one that is a direct bolt on? I would rather not drill to mount some new ones.

If you just want brighter bulbs, check www.Nopi.com or call them at 1-800-852-6497 and aks for Big Scott. Tell him that Phil with the black bimmer sent you. I would suggest Piaa or Razo's, they aren't that crap HID wanna be style and they really do offer whiter light. Or you can check www.optauto.com.

If you want yellow ones, try these places too

www.Eurolights.com
www.Suvlights.com

As for another foglight, I wouldn't know, how bout something from Piaa. Those ion yellow lens ones? I see them on SUV's all the time. They look almost the same size.

Hey ATX25RS,

do you have a pic of the front of the car with them on, so that I may see the contrast with the headlights. Does anyone ever replace the fog bulbs with HIDs too? or is that just a waste of money?
