Default OT: Honda Pilot or Ford Explorer Sport?

Hi guys,

Just need your opinion on both cars.

Which 7 seater would you pick?

FORD EXPLORER SPORT OR HONDA PILOT?

I don't like the Pilot, but I can't see myself trusting an Explorer much more either.

My hat's in for the Pilot. Because Honda.

honda pilot. but i would like to mention something. oddly enough, my co worker and i were just discussing this like 5 min ago as she is looking for one. idk what trim level you are looking at but she is looking at the elite. apparently the elite pilot are hard to come buy so they're selling them at like 1-5k above msrp. crazy!!! aka 48k+. again, idk what trim level you're looking at or what ur budget is, but i would suggest taking a look at the MDX as well at that price point. look at the highlander if budget is a concern too. japanese engineering over american anyday. hope this helps! keep us posted.

I would go for the Exploder with an Ecoboost if you are talking new. Honda would be better reliability but I think the Ford looks way better and the EcoBoost is an awesome engine, especially if you have any tuning plans. I just watched a YouTube vid of 7 seater comparo's but I forgot what won. The Pilot was middle of the pack. I think Highlander won.

Hi guys,

Thanks for your opinions. Yeah I also think that reliability would be with the Honda Pilot coz its Japanese, however when we looked at it looks like the paint inside the door weren't finished very well. Test drove the Explorer sport 3.5 V6 twin turbo, its a beast! 365hp!!
