First post on NASIOC as I just picked up my first Subi this past Saturday. Figured I would find the WI thread first before posting in any other forums. Picked myself up a Java Black Pearl 04 WRX Wagon from out in Brookfield. Dont have any quality photos yet as I haven't had a chance to buff it yet, but that will hopefully take place sometime this weekend and then I will do a proper photoshoot.

I saw the Facebook group for SE WI Subaru owners so I "applied/joined" whatever it is called. Might be nice to meet a few other people in the area. I came from the DSM world, so most people I know went the Evo route. When it is time to tear into this thing it will be quite different.

Also saw some people speaking about Automotion. I was up there with my 97 Eclipse Spyder and did happen to snap a few photos of some Subis. I am an amateur photographer so I always am snapping photos.

And just a photo of the Spyder that I had up there.

Nice pictures, all of those cars are in the sewsc group on Facebook. We are mostly on there now. Any pictures of the wagon?

I have a few of the car as I washed i the day that I picked it up. However they are in my backyard and nothing special. I am not going to post any until I get to do a proper photoshoot. The car is remaining stock however as this is my DD so it wont be getting any power mods. Although I am contemplating some lowering springs and different wheels already. I love the slammed look, but it just isn't reasonable on a DD in Milwaukee.

Intake, downpipe and a tune won't hurt

The car came with an AEM short ram intake, and what I suspect to be a heavier pressure plate than OEM (I test drove a few stock WRX's and this clutch is much heavier). I also think it might have a lightened flywheel as the RPM's drop super fast, but I might just not be used to a boxer engine. Unfortunately I didn't get any information from the dealer when I picked it up.

I will look into a tune and downpipe, but I did daily a modified DSM throughout high school/college and I will never do it again. No matter what car you are talking about, my #1 rule is always "The very first mod to any car should be another car". And I am not willing to break that. But as always happens, I am already "Searching for the fun of it"

I went to the Stance Meet as well (I live 5 mins away from Miller Park) but I didnt take any photos. Really wish I would have though, so I will be taking my camera this August for the second meet.

This is what I recommend, up pipe, downpipe, and a tune. That will take you to a "stage 2" and will be more fun to drive and safer then it being on no tune with a aftermarket intake.

Finally got a chance to grab some photos of the car. Unfortunately it hasn't been washed in two weeks, and still hasn't had a buff/wax yet. But I was driving home and happened by this location and figured it was time to grab some photos. I have some lawn chairs, a softball bag, bag toss, and a few other odds and ends in the back hence the reason for the rear squatting. I really want some wheels and suspension, but my photography business might be taking off here soon and I need to put all my money into that.

I still have some more photos to edit from this set, but here is the first two that I worked on. I am still waiting for my new watermark to be completed so until then it goes watermark free. Let me know your thoughts.

Hasn't been washed?? It looks like it just came from the car wash - mine is actually dirty.. It's looks to be very good condition though. I think some wheels would really set it off but I understand the financials. Our cars can easily be a money suck.

I would love a set of wheels. However the only wheels that I am really considering is a set of 17x9 wheels, but on a wagon that requires rolling the rear fenders and I really dont want to (trying to keep it as stock as possible. Maybe I will look into some RCE Wagon springs and then see if people need to roll the rear fenders with a 17x9. I am not willing to sacrifice ride quality however, and I know that with wheels I will need to go low to be happy with them. Then it ruins the point of a comfy DD.

Yeah, I haven't washed it since the day I bought it July 13th. This weekend is packed full, so I am thinking next weekend I might give it it's first wash/buff/polish/wax. Then more photos.

Who knows the admin's of the WI Subaru group on facebook? I havent been accepted yet as my profile photo is not my car and my profile is private.

About a week ago Saturday I seen several Subies at Georgie Porgies In Racine. Little over 20 cars including other brands. August 17th from 5pm -8pm they are having a Import night. Free classic Burger with a purchase of a dollar or more. Last Saturday they a huge turnout with Modern Muscle.

Hi everyone. I'm not a Subaru owner, but i have been looking into them. I'm in Pulaski, and there are some incredible Imprezas that roll through there. I am currently a Ford Focus owner and the community is not that great. Some may have seen my black ZX3 around. Anyways, i figured i'd register to see what would be the best option for my budget. Most likely something a little older, like 95-02ish.
