I'll be up at work this weekend, sad face. Looks like this event should finally get some great weather. Have fun.

Pfft!!! You should have been at Barlett skidding and steering around the course. It was a great day to play.

At the Track

Lovely day out there. Nice to finally have some good weather.

Superb course…even with Ryan's adjustments. Don't know why he left so soon.

Congratulations to Paul and his squad. I just knew my fast time wasn't going to stand all day but I am happy that it was a Subaru that pipped me…by .124 seconds.

Lots of folks driving well at a high level. It is awesome seeing the progress of many drivers. Return of old faces. Lots of newcomers too.

Looking forward to the next event. We have a good little break now. Time to get some things done on the car.

I appreciate all the volunteers and the competitors who showed (and stayed). Thanks to PCA for putting on such a great event.

Until next time!

A lot of great driving today, good job everyone. It was a beautiful day for racing.

Here's a Shaggy run. We should have done the other wheel because that one was lifting way more near the end.

And here's my fastest run. 44.6xx

Had a great time out there today!
Definitely have to learn how to drive again, I realized its not the car, it's me.

Also huge thanks to Tank for making me get a plug for my tire that caught something on the track and went flat, and getting me back out on the track. When I would've just taken my out and dealt with the tire later.

Excited to continue to hone my skills and step up to the plate. I've really slipped since last year and I feel like I need to play catch up.

I disagree completely with you Kyle (and told you so at the event). The way you entered the 'BOX' on turn 3 where I was working my corner, made me envious. Very smooth and very efficient. You did very well. One thing you guys who come infrequently have to understand is that you have to show up consistently to improve at autocross. Each course is different and the whole process (prep, track walk, driving, 1st runs, 2nd runs) all improve your race craft over a season. You can't expect to show up to 2 events in a season and make leaps & bounds progress.

My fastest clean time, a 44.184 (3rd run of the first set of runs) stood tall for several hundred other runs, unfortunately I failed to capture it. This is a 44.4, my next fastest clean run.

It was a great course Jeff. Hope you design a few more. Your course brought out the sportmanship of some people... I'll leave it at that.

I had a lot of fun. Couldn't get better then a 45.9 I think. I also got plagued with a left rear tire leak and fatigue. That sun did me in but I'm not complaining.

Tires have cords coming off them. Rather not destroy a $6000 rear clamshell!
