Default Good place to order PIAA bulbs online?

I'd like some of their "Ion Crystal" (part # 13555) yellow bulbs for my fog lights.

Anyone know a good place to get them?

Also, what wattage should I get? 55 is the stock bulb, right? Can I swing 60 or would that get too hot?

Go here http://www.optauto.com/webstore/prod...k=yes&dept=346 I ordered my bulbs from them with no problems, as far as wattage goes, looks like all they have is 55W=85W.

Great price, thanks.

How do I specify the wattage though? I definitely don't want 85w.

Did you just call them?

Default piia ion bulbs

I have these fog bulb in and i can definately say that they are the best fog bulb i have ever bought. (ebay) they actually look green in the center when looking at them dead on, though i wouldnt recommend doing that too much because i was seeing spots for a good 5 minutes afterwards. These definately are brighter than stock.

You may want to spend some time looking for the new Sylvania Silverstar bulbs. I recall reading a couple reviews of the Piaa bulbs where they said that the light output was lower than stock, although still different in color.

UI am hunting down the new Silverstars here in Southern ontario...

Autobarn.com has the silverstar bulbs for $24 just to let everyone know. You might be able to find them cheaper somewhere else, though.

BeavisNuke, I think what they mean by 55W=85W is that the light output of their 55W is equal to the output of a typical 85W bulb but don't hold me to that because I am not positive about that but anyway all they have is 55W and may I recommend PIAA Extreme White's, I have those in my JDM headlights and fog lights and they look pretty sweet, great light output and lots of complements too, they look really white with a purple hue, really close to HID especially with the JDM projectors, I hope that this is of some help to you.

My guess is that the 85Watt output they are referring to is the color temperature of the bulb, rather than the absolute light output energy.

XCELR8, do you have any pics of your JDM's with the Piaa Xtreme Whites?

Well, I need 55 watt for the WRX fog lights, right?

I don't want to burn out the harness.

No but I will see what I can do, by the way, I tried to post some pics earlier but it would not let me do it, it said that they were to large but I don't know how that can be, because I see all these HUGE pictures posted all of the time, any suggestions as to what I may be doing wrong?

Well, I guess that image attached fine. How big is your image file. Cause it says the maximum file size is about 50K. The image I just attached was 48K. Make sure you have the right file format too.

The only thing I noticed, was when I submitted my reply, things froze up for awhile. I closed everything out and came back to this thread to find my post went through. Not sure what's going on with that

They are GIF's: 560by420by255-colors,72dpi(121KB, 131KB and 124KB) must be the resolution or something, I dunno, I will work on getting some smaller ones taken, especially with my lights on at night, I just hope that the pictures do the lights justice. If you do care to see my car you can do so at these links, if they work.

You should convert the images to .jpg and use compression to make the files smaller. If you have Photoshop, it's real easy.
