Getting ready to call my dealer about the noise coming from my passenger side speaker cover area. I've had new speakers installed and I'm hoping they don't feed me a line of bs about how they don't cover this because I've had speakers installed. This noise is ridiculous!

Just a heads up, my local dealer/service center told me there's finally a TSB out for the rattling/buzzing dash issue. I'm having mine addressed next week.

My 2011 STI is creeky and does rattle..especially from Invidia N1 exhaust. Not the best sound dedning in our subies. I feel like my 06 STI was a nicer quality car.

Good to read. I had both the drivers side and passenger side fixed a few months ago. They said they added foam tape to make it a tighter fit. However the rattle has come back, passenger side, so I guess I'll be taking it in again.

Is this the TSB?

Yes, that is the one. The service manager told me it involved additional clips and I'm sure some foam tape to address the problem.

The dealer had to order a part as it was the A-pillar. Hopefully this solve my issues.

I was relieved they didn't give me hard time but I guess the noise was obvious and I provided the tsb info so they had no choice. Hope it works.

Yup. I'm out of bumper to bumper warranty so I will do it myself once it warms up

Well, had the TSB done for the buzzing/rattling noise this past Friday and it definitely solve the noise issue....for now at least.

It's so nice to not have to hear that annoying noise anymore. Hopefully no other phantom rattles occur.

Right here 11' sti, front passenger foot area I took it all apart... Put it back together correctly! And still every time I hit a darn bump it's like "crhrhrhrrh". Very annoying

My '06 doesn't rattle much unless I'm playing music loud. The only thing that creeks is my clutch pedal

It may not be the pillar. I mentioned this some time ago and another member suggested I check how well the back door was sealing.

However, it seems it's not the door, but the door card. Went from a tight rubbing squeak sound to a rattle after listening to music loud. It now rattles without fail and if I push the door card it goes away.

May be a separate issue, but worth a look?

Its my drivers front door card. Rattles all the time just not really loud. Its just a steady morse code puntuated by sharp sqeaks when the road gets bumpy. There is a rattle somewhere in the b-pillar as well. Oh-and my rear hatch is rattling BAD...

Funny you mention the front door card, between my posts (between home and work), MY front door card started rattling! I gave it a good push and it went away for now...

Never had problems with the hatch, but I have CLD tiles all up in it. My cargo cover on the other hand... needs some TLC.

Really? That fabric window-shade cargo cover makes noise for you?

Yeah, why wouldnt it? They have springs in them and they rest on hard plastic. BOTH mine rattle. So they sit in my garage when not in use.
I also routinely ride around with the back seats folded as I can count the rear passengers I have had.

Interesting. All of the rattles I hear come from in front of me when I'm driving, not behind me.

So they replace the A-pillar under warranty and now my noise is worse. WTF? Back to the dealership.
