Default nail in tire, tire fixed how fast can i go?

Got a nail in my tire that went all the way through. Took it to a tire shop got it fixed and plugged. How fast can I still go on that tire since its been compromised now. I have done autox events before and want to take it to the track. Are higher speeds safe on it?

The legal posted speed limit. Anything else is left up to chance.

There's a thread around here specifically about plugged tires. I wish you luck in your search.

Rope plug or plug patch? A proper repair in the tread not near the shoulder with a plug patch is supposed to be as strong as the tire. Rope plugs suck though spin the tire a bit or lock up the brakes at the wrong spot you can yank it right out
