Also BTW, Subaru DOES have a smaller platform, just not sold in USA. Pretty ignorant to assume they dont produce smaller cars than all the boats they produce for USDM now.

I know they produce smaller cars however none of those are a platform that would work for WRC. Not ignorant and not assuming anything.

Yes they produce kei cars but these are not global platforms. And subaru is not going to support a global race team in a non global platform.

On a different note, I hope this whiny thread does not give the impression that (I'm guessing) most subaru fans are not thankful that there are still some factory sponsored teams somewhere, if not WRC.

I would cry lug nuts if there wasn't any subaru participation in RA or GRC.

Well they will have yo adapt if they plan on re entering. With 2014 concepts out I don't see it.

They won't be re-entering anytime soon if at all. And yes I'm very glad they are still involved in Motorsports I just want to see them do better in the most visible series they are competing in. Higgins kills it in RA but having him drive is like bringing a howitzer to a gun fight! He has so much talent it's silly!

Don't forget that Subaru does participate in the WRC, just not at the top level where the aforementioned transmission rules don't allow their current drivetrain to compete. They (Subaru) do however compete in the IRC, and other classes of the WRC.

If it has wheels, you know somebody will rally the wheels off of it somewhere.

That's Colin McRae at the wheel.

Nice to see Subaru win a heat. Sverre did a good job. Bucky and Mirra did the usual of course. Love to root for them, but this crossover legend bs and the lack of talent is frustrating. They are like watching the Browns. I was thinking watching a live event would change my mind, but again, they are like watching the browns live.

I stood behind the fact that they are new drivers and that Subaru didnt have the best car, but Sverre went out there and proved that Subaru does have a car that can compete, we just need drivers! It was still painfully obvious that the Subaru is still under powered, but even with that Sverre still went out here and won a heat with some great driving!

Apparently, Mirra is going to make an appearance at the Subaru Challenge. It is in Indiana, at the SAI plant out side Lafayette. Rumor has it, he is going to be there with his GRC car and is going to take a hot lap on the autocross course.

The Fords were so quick off the line, it was crazy. Sverre drove a good race in a car that's down at least 100 hp or more. They didn't pay much attention to him, but I don't think he even finished the last race, so I'm not sure if it was a mechanical or what.

The first ten seconds of every race resulted in a red flag. Tanner Foust rolled onto his hood, Lots of suspension and drive shaft failures, ESPN may replay it....

In the 2nd to last lap Nelson Piquet Jr, who was in 2nd, was black flagged for taking the joker twice, he didnt have enough time to catch Lasek, but 30 yards from the finish line Liam Doran snapped his drive shaft and couldn't get it together in time to cross the finish line begore Piquet passed him. Scott Speed won, but was uneventful as every race he was in he pulled ahead and stayed there without challenge.
