Default 17x9 RPF1 on CGM STi w/ RCE Yellows...Color?

Buying 17x9 RPF1's from a powder coater around here, any opinions On color, they were purple the way he had them...that's a little flashy for me personally.

Also, am I low enough on the RCE yellows that it won't look funky that wide?

There's a thread around here where members will Photoshop your requests if you ask nicely, search.

RCE yellows don't drop much, but either way the 9" wheels will look great. I have 17x9 RPF1's on my car in fact.

Color is all personal preference.

I am aware of this thread, I wanted to ask about how they thought my minimal drop would work with it

I guess I'm just not sure I don't want overly flashy stuff. I think dark green might look kind of cool, maybe bronze, gunmetal, or possibly like a dark dark blue

My 17x8 RPF1s fit fine over the Brembos on my 2012 STi.

100% irrelevant. Its a completely different wheel, with a completely difference face design.

brake clearance has NOTHING to do with wheel width or offset. its all based on the face and hub design of that particular wheel.

As far as I know, there is NO 9" RPF1 that will clear brembos without at least a 3mm spacer.

I was always under the impression it depended on the offset and I would be okay with +32 but if I need some little spacers so be it

what is the offset? I had 17x9 et 22 and those fit without spacers. Be warn though that it is a very low offset and is not for everyone. Now I'm rocking NT03's.

I've really liked those NT03-M's for a while they're sick.

They are 17x9 +32 RPF1s

I'm talking to him now the size chart enkei provides shows there isn't a 32 offset...so it's either 35, or 22, which I'm kind of worried about I don't know if I'm down to run that aggressive. Ill roll fenders but I'm not up for pulling etc an I'm not on coilovers

Strangely he said he never had to run spacers.
