Default Front bumper choices for 04 WRX

My car has 133k miles and the stock front bumper has taken quite the beating. I want to get it replaced and painted, but I literally have no idea which company / material bumper to choose. It should be at least as strong as the stock front bumper. It would also be nice if the height of the new bumper was a bit less then the stock one, maybe an inch or two? Price wise I would like to go for the best bang for the buck, maybe somewhere around ~350ish?

I know I would like a very large mesh grating which is close to flush with the front (so it is visible), also I am not really a fan of the front lamp bezel (thing that covers fog lights), maybe I can find a bumper which covers the fog lights on its own? This is the only thing I could find - http://www.chargespeedusa.com/#/item...japanese_frp)/

What swaps have you done? Any pictures or opinions would be great!

Also, anyone know of a shop in the east bay (berkeley-ish) which will paint my new bumper without installing it? Last place said some bs about liability.

Either get a sti bumper or a better condition used wrx one and get the sti splitters and dremel and install those. Looks great. Getting into body kits and **** is just straight tacky but to each his own i guess. Duraflex is good. you can find some other ghetto stuff on www.carid.com
