Default 2.1 stroked/ Greddy 18g 05 WRX

2005 OBP WRX 2.1L stroker

bought Feb of 2011...4th owner
car orginated from Nevada, las vegas.
2nd owner blew a rod bearing in the first motor. replaced with a motor from washington...i found this out a month or so after i bought the car and found the original motor and bought it and sold later on.

when i bought this car
only mods the car had was ACT stg 2 clutch and system in the car, prodive shift knob, TBE


first day home



then i started removing the vinyl stickers and started mods.


blacked out the center and vents ^^

first part bought

i can't wait until i re-tune this summer! not many people run the greddy 18g, but from what i read it really opens up above 20psi.

Sounds nice! I just ran a 2.1 bugeye with an hta68 with a built 5spd. It was damn quick

Most turbos with MHI internals react that way. They just start to run more in their efficiency range at 20+ psi.

Run it like a n/a car. Remove the hard line on the radiator. Cap the oping on the passenger side of the radiator tank.

The line from the passenger head connects to a hose flowing to the right head. As long as your rad cap is the highest point you are fine.

No need as the turbo is oiled cooled only

I agree the coupler coming off the turbo looks kinked in the wrong direction.

I thought this when i first saw it as well. But its on there correct from what im told and xan see. I may try flipping it to see better fitment.

It causes no threat or problem

Retuned with 25lbs of boost. Was limited by my ecu and maf was maxed out. Will have whp estimate soon.

Ordered a 03ecu and getn a omni 3 bar map sensor.
