Default Broke OEM USB port pls help!!

Long story short, got out of car with phone in pocket and still attached to the port. All pins are bent to hell so it looks like I need to replace it.

I looked on the part sites, but they only say aux port. Are the USB and aux tied together and must be purchased together? Does anyone have a part number? The car is a 2011 WRX non-navi. Thanks!

Same module has both the 3.5mm aux jack and USB socket, with proprietary sockets on the rear for each of those.

"AUX UNIT AY USB"
Subaru Part# 86257AJ200
List $93.25, online discount vendors ~$68 (plus shipping)

Same part is used across several models and years.

Pictures here.

I'm putting a 2011 base model radio into a 2008. Would you know the part number for the cable that runs from the aux/usb to the head unit? Thanks.

This harness connects to the OEM USB socket only -- it does not handle the connections for the stereo audio 3.5mm aux jack:

"CORD AY AUX USB"
Subaru Part# 86273FG210
List $120.73, online discount vendors ~$88 (plus shipping)

If your 2008 already has an aux-only pod, your existing aux harness will fit the aux socket on the back of that new aux+USB pod, but the HU end won't fit the 2011 HU (they switched from an 8-pin plug/socket for aux only to a 16-pin plug/socket for aux + mic). I don't think the newer aux harness is available as a repair part, since it's integrated with other wiring.

I could make an adapter to convert from a 2008-2010 car's 8-pin plug to the 2011-up HU's 16-pin socket. Contact me by e-mail for details (see my profile).

ADDED: Of course, were you aware that the 2008's steering wheel controls won't work? The resistor values are completely different. By chance, a couple of buttons may be seen by the newer HU but they will do different functions than how they're labeled.

Thank you for the information, I wasn't aware of the change that would render the 2008 SWC unusable. What might be the easiest way to get the use of a USB "stick" to be able to use it for music then?
