Default Fender Liner Replacement

Some of the mounting points on the passenger front fender liner of my 2005 WRX sedan were damaged and allowed the fender liner to droop down and touch my tire. As you may have guessed, this did not end well for the fender liner- it was ripped apart.

I want to replace the fender liner, as I live in Florida and so the car will see a lot of heavy rain. I tried to order one from subarugenuineparts.com for $30, but it was $60 to ship it. They said they had to use an oversized box and if they folded it and fit it into a small box, it would crack. The nearest Subaru dealership is about an hour away from me, so I would prefer to not make that journey. I also have not had much luck finding a used fender liner. However, I found this aftermarket replacement:

http://compare.ebay.com/like/3508286...Types&var=sbar

My question is this: Has anyone used this aftermarket fender liner? If so, what was the fitment and durability like? Also, has anyone had any experience folding a fender liner up and shipping it?

Thanks.

I just went through this ordeal for my car's passenger side liner. Best price will be to drive an hour and pick it up for around $30.00 at the dealership. Thats what I eventually did.

2nd that, it seems really flimsy but I could see the points where it would crack. I had to replace both of mine due to the same problem.

Cool. I just checked and the stealership an hour away can get the liner for me for $40+ $15 shipping. I'll probably just do that because it would cost me about $15 in fuel to drive there and back anyway.

Thanks.

That's what I figured. How was the fitment of the ebay liners?

Can't speak for the ebay liners...but this is the one I got for my car-

Fitment was pretty much spot on. It's flimsy enough to get it to fit the way you want, but once secure it won't go anywhere.
