Default Good upholstery shop that'll do a leather conversion? (preferably BK or Queens)

I know i can travel out to LI and find a shop... or an hour+ into jersey... but if possible, i'd prefer to stay nearby, in brooklyn or queens.

Any decent shops that'll do a leather conversion, along with some back and bolster stuffing and contouring (so no catskinz prefabs, as i want the seat changed a bit)

thanks in advance

Isn't it cheaper to just buy the parts rather than have them custom made? You're better off with new seats rather than 'stuffing' them. The stock US seats are horrible.

getting factory front leathers aren't a problem, but i'm having a hard time finding wagon rears.

as to it being cheaper - who knows. haven't gotten that far yet

re: the term stuffing, i've had this done with my track car years ago, because the recaro and bride didn't suit me (installed each and sold a month later) - so my choice was to get something made to suit. It isn't really stuffing in the sense of stuffing a pillow, but rather adding additional foamcore, in varying densities, or even removing material and cutting in a new piece altogether, to increase side bolstering, back curve, seat cut, etc. As good or better than OEM with a knowledgeable upholstery man - but unfortunately my guy closed long ago.

paperplane, i'll let you know if any of my leads work out. konrad - i've toyed with the idea of taking another car's seats and making them work. Best seats i've ever sat in (for me at least) were r34 gtr's, leather with suded inserts. probably too wide for a GD though
