re-read what i wrote. it takes 30 mins to an hour on top of a dowpipe install. once the dowpipe is out, you remove the o2 sensor, the two bolts/nuts that are right next to it, the 5 bolts up top and if needed lift the engine after removing the two nuts from the mounts. slide it out, slide the new one in and bolt everything back up. it's not that hard. shops want you think it's hard so they can scare people into having them do it and make money.

thank you jthatch. crxgator I do work on my own cars. I have pulled and replaced several motors, full drivetrains, uppipes, and just about everything else including the 400awhp rotated gt3076r ej257 hybrid swap in my 02 wrx.

You're still absolutely wrong. The uppipe itself takes 3+ hours on top of however long the downpipe takes.

Got my Cobb turbo back installed by the guys at Conyngham Auto today. A little loud, but looks and sounds good.

Conyngham Auto is only 20 minutes away from my house, and apparently he specializes in Subarus and uses only genuine Subaru parts.

Hopefully I've found an alternate to the dealership that I've always gone to for my WRX and my wife's Tribeca.

Thanks guys for the recommendation!

Eric

Nope, Mark took care of it all for me.

If you're ever at Mark's shop and see a '03 Sonic Yellow bug eye, it's probably me...!!

Thanks again,
Eric
