One thing I've decided-every xv ought to come with mudflaps!
And all weather floor mats!

Agree. I want to get some weather-tech all weather floor mats and some rally armor mud flaps. The stock all weather mats are not cutting it at all

It is pretty effing awesome. Pretty much everything I didnt like about the impreza is taken care of with the xv.
They aren't for everyone. But for what I do, and where I drive, I much prefer it. And not that I care much about what other people think, but my god it has parking lot appeal! People seem to really love the car. Everyone loves the wheels. I love them some days and some I'm not so sure. But they really have been growing on me.

Brian- Another selling point was that my Impreza's WeatherTech's fit right in the xv.
How many times will one get to re-use a custom fit set of mats? Theyre awesome and have been protecting my carpet since day one.

Same problem, man. I really want the rain guards, some auxillary lighting, a roof rack, a hitch, a leather shift knob, another set of wheels, and some supertones just to name a few...

You're going to really like that look. IMO it looks better than the mesh grille

Did the same with my 12' limited.

Thats very nice!^

Zauri- that looks great! Exactly what I'm going for!
I thought about the mesh grille but its just too pricey for plastic imo. Did you do that with the grille on orr off the car?

I left it on.. put a cloth on the back end and just taped up everything else. Amateur job, but its good enough lol

The first light coat of plastidip is drying...
I'm a little nervous!
It went on pretty evenly. I'm thinking of keeping the can held back a bit for a more textured look.
I am only doing the chrome center bar/wing thing. will do the chrome grille surround this weekend depending on how this first piece turns out.
Wish me luck!

Well it turned out fairly nice, for a first timer in dimly lit conditions.
That stuff is easy to work with!
Will be doing the rest of the grille chrome this weekend.
Zauri, what do you do with the rubber trim on the top.of the grille? Tape it off? If so, do you peel it back then tape? Thanks for any help!

79 - I haven't been around here much lately so haven't heard what happened with your Imp after all of the problems. I hope you have better luck with this car. It's been good to me so far.

They have slots cut out so theres some wiggle room. the fronts I'm happy with, the rears are a bit crooked. But I'll need some spare time to take the rear wheels back off. I used a tape and tried to get them as level and even with the pavement as possible. I just need to hog out the rear slots to get the flaps even with the fronts.

When I put on the rally armor on my 11 Wrx I had to bent the rear brackets slightly to get then straight. I would make the holes bigger
