buy my L and put the moto in yours. part out the rest. Or put your rear drivetrain in the back of my L.

Ha thx, how much for the L boxy?

The hg's were toast for a while and the motor was on the way out anyway when I got it since it's an R title. Got 2 years out of it and almost finished the suspension! ha

I'm gonna try to save it, and Lou's working his magic. Am very very close to perhaps dropping the extra cash and try to swap it but I really shouldn't. Tried to stay out of the motor for as long as I could!

Call zephyr for the wiring. With him the wiring would be the last thing holding me back with a swap.

It's more of a cost thing for that part of the equation. Anyone have an NA 2.5 motor laying around?

Found a motor in NY, Miss, and NH. Probably picking up the nh motor when I go up to our annual family reunion on squam lake in NH august 12th. Seems like I may get to keep it after all.

Thank you so much it looks like I am getting the one in NH when I go up to see my fam outside of boston, put half down on that one this morning. Sucks I'll have to pay lou storage bc that trip is scheduled for aug 12th.

Good news is swap is only about a 4hr job for him, so I should be back up and running in no time! Maybe I'll go pick it up sooner, anyone wanna ride to nh and back? It's only 5.5hrs...

Update if anyone cares.

Tomm 8/7 will be at procom around noon hanging out hugging Lou and the suby. Need to retrieve softball equip after almost 4 weeks.

Sat aug 10 driving up to squam lake NH for annual family reunion.

Wed aug 14 pick up motor in Londonderry NH on the way home and drop off to Lou by 3 or 4 so I can hopefully be home in time for softball playoffs. Long block acquired by local nh enthusiast and rs25 mod. Hopefully it runs!

Aug 14+... Lou fixie da subie and drive home.

Aug+ lower rear drivetrain and add forester ta mounts.

Rally x.

Win?

Swap... Then win.

SHE LIVES!! Resurrected this past wed and I pick up car and drive away on tues.

HUGE shoutout and thanks to following people, everyone has been great minus one random rs25 member. :wow:

Lou @ procom - from start to finish great communication and worked with me through all the non-dyrdek ridiculousness, couldn't have done it without him! Highly recommended.
zephyr for his insanely valuable electrical knowledge, and help with sohc -> dohc swap.
singingcanary for primetime recommendations that actually worked out, what a mod.
pmpauto group for excellent job fitting a warrantied motor in the trunk of my sisters sick 150hp hyundai elantra by only having to remove throttle body. (I know because lou took her for a pull on the dyno @ his dyno day meet, don't make me post the sheet!)
maxpowr, rallycarperson, each it, stiboss and the rest of yas for helping me with moral support!

Next up, finish suspension and then SWAP. stibauss2 on the deck.

Indeed it was, should have told me about pmp months ago!!!

Got another recommendation from maic's abnormal for them in dc too so clearly they're the spot on the east coast. LOTS of subie goodies there, not just engines although seeing all the sti motors lined up made me wantttt
