Default 2012 WRX CEL, AP wont pull code?

CEL light came on today. I borrowed an access port to check the code and it said there were no codes? So... now what? Car has no mods and seems to drive normally. I have noticed a rough idle a few times in the last couple of months, but it has been sporadic and always goes away. I will be taking it to the dealer, but thought I would get some board feedback as well.

Thanks

The AP is married to an ECU which since it was borrowed it may not work on yours because its married to the owners ECU. Or it may not be updated also if it was uninstalled properly.

It was an unmarried AP if that makes a difference.

Dealer said it is a bad MAP sensor. New one is on the way. The first 2012 that they have had to replace.

Sensor was replaced. CEL was back within 20 miles. Dealer is now stumped. Thoughts? After the service I noticed some stumble/misfire at idle and while cruising at 40 mph. Stayed out of boost as best I could on the way back to dealer.

Dealer called this afternoon. They think they have identified the problem. It is not the MAP sensor itself, but they harness that connects to the MAP sensor. Somehow, there is a kink in the ground wire for the sensor. They think this is causing the sensor to malfunction. They have ordered a new part, which I assume is a new harness. Probably won't get the car back till Monday, but perhaps tomorrow...
