This, if it looks like you take good care of your car I can appreciate that.

If your evo/ferrari/porsche looks like you zip tied the pos together..and your fmic is duct taped on...don't expect a wave expect me to pass you before I get hit with things falling off your car

I'm not saying that others aren't d bags as well. I've just noticed it most with evos. I don't see many other kinds of cars that people are very enthusiastic about in my area.

Prius drivers are ****ing pricks. They NEVER wave to me and I usually take my losses pretty well.

I remember back in 05 pulling up to an evo in my 91 zr1. They were pretty new at the time and this guy obviously had work done as he had every gauge pillar in the book. Still didn't stand a chance against my LT5 and 315 35 11.5 inch rear tires. He hung with me until about 120 at which point I continued to pull all the way to 158mph. It didn't win the 24 hour 5000 mile endurance race averaging over 175mph for nothing.

You will find A-holes where ever you go. There is a prick who ownes a sti near me and then there is a evo X owner who has chased me to say he likes my RS. There is even an evo owner who is in my subaru club.

I haven't seen an evo on the road in months - usually its the truck-bros I have issue with.
I guess I would be a dick too if my car was that unreliable. ;p

most of the evos in my area are nice. They wave, We wave, it's all in good fun. The people that give me stares and like to sneeze next to my open window are the ones in the older dsm's

My buddy whos got a 450whp evo was happy for me when I got my sti. In fact, he helped me shop around when I was looking to buy one. He never even tried to convinced me to get a mutsubishi.

Pricks like th OP mentioned are usually people with fragile egos who think their car "defines" them.

I'm a former EVO owner. Owning an STI hasn't made me any different of a person.

I had an EVO owner tell me, "Nice car."

I told him, "right back at you."

Then we smiled and touched each other.

Saw a meet of Lancer/EVO's (maybe a dozen or so)
Really good looking ones that I wanted to see up close...rolled closer
got a "Whatcha want?"
I said "nice cars you guys got there"
answer "Yeah, and?"

Just rolled away.
