Maybe there in IN. Out here they're the most agro drivers in existence! Weaving through traffic driving like maniacs. And that's just the OCTA workers!

I'd say it's just bad luck or something... A buddy of mine owns 3 Evo's and he thinks Subarus are great as well. In fact, I think everyone that I know that is an Evo owner also likes and appreciates not only Subarus but other cars as well.

I think guys in SRT-4s tend to be pretty lame compared to EVO drivers but the rudest person I've ever seen on the road was in a GTI. We both had our windows down and I told him I liked his car and he responded with "coming from someone who was stupid enough to buy a subaru" and then he rolled up his window...

^ which is why I don't compliment first. I'll give a nod or peace sign or something, and if it's gets a reasonable response, then I'll verbally compliment.

And I had an SRT-4 and loved everybody. They're just cars, man.

"Coming from someone who bought a car from a brand endorsed by HITLER!!!" is the right response to that. Or... you know... let it go and just keep enjoying your subie.

I parked next to a guy in an evo. Him and I both walked out at the same time and we talked about our cars for about 30 minutes. We both complemented each other and left.

Some people are douche bag some people aren't. Don't form a stereotype off of one experience

Why the **** would you wave to a Prius driver? They could give a crap, the Prius is the epitome of "A to B" simple/tree hugger transportation.

+1

They are rarer than subys down here. Idiots is trucks on the other hand....

Seems most Honda si owners are always looking to prove something too.

I'm Jewish and I was referring to the gestapo driving the VW.

I'm laid back, no one has every really been a dick to me on the road. Anyone else in a specialty car has usually given me a thumbs up, nod, or a wave. If you're actually into cars and not a brand fan boy, you respect any one in a nice ride.

Now some chump with a ratty old civic with a fart can and an ebay spoiler on it, I just don't even make contact.

This whole discussion is like the xbox vs play-station argument. If you actually like cars, you should open your horizons. There are loads of better sports cars out there other than subarus and evos. Porsche, Ferarri, Lambos, Lancia, Audi, Rally Spec Fords, group B cars, Peugeot, Astons, BMW, if I see a slick ride I show respect. because anyone who puts as much attention to detail in their car that I put into mine, deserves some respect.

One time I saw an evo. I realized that I didn't know the guy, and we passed without incident.

I found more STI drivers in my area too be either oblivious or dbags than the Evo's.. WRX guys are usually cool and wave but majority of the STI boy's seem too look down on a WRX which is funny cause I was making more power then that majority. But who really cares. I just don't agree with Evo guys being dbags, two of my best friends drive Evo's and DSM's.

Good friend of mine has a Evo and tbh don't know to many people that are more polite then he is sometimes too much. I have had more eye rolls from other Subaru drivers the whole your wagon ain't s*** compared to my sedan hurdle that they can't seem to get over. To the op people are all different so d-bags lurk EVERYWHERE.

Guarantee there are tons of threads in other forums that say "Subaru WRX/STI owners are the biggest jackasses". Why? Mostly because there are so many idiot kids driving them.

Dbags are everywhere. It'd be nice if they were all forced into one type of car so we could see them coming, but unfortunately that's hasn't happened yet.

If I complement a car at a light and then they turn around and unleash their inner dbag, I get all serious....stared them down....and insist we race.....for hugs.

I get to see a funny reaction and I tend to get less F&F style challenges to deal with.

Also, while I'm sure they are out there somewhere. For the last 5 years I've been a member on most lancer/evo forums and don't recall running into subi owners are dbags thread.
