^^It's never TOO early to start thinking about it!

My big trip this year is Chamonix between Christmas and New Years. Anyone been before? I'm probably doing two resort days and one guided BC day.

Is it just me or does that look like an extremely sketchy spot to stand? It looks like the top layer is already starting to break a little bit...All I'm envisioning is it breaking off and down into the chute you go..Cool picture regardless.

^^Not really, the cornice isn't really too overhung so I wasn't too worried about it breaking back. I was actually further back from the edge than it looks too. Regardless, I got back on the boot pack pretty quickly after my buddy took the pic. I will say I've definitely been in way sketchier spots than that one.

Gotcha.

I have too, it's never fun when you find yourself in those positions..There were a couple of times last season that had me puckered to say the least.

I'll throw in a few from last season. They're all park but that's because I don't really like taking my camera into the back country...Always feel restrained with it on me.

My favorite photo of the year was me in my squatch costume/sonics tee

^ nice pics

Your gear looks familiar... I ride Stevens a ton. We should hook up this season. I agree about cameras in the BC. I lost two contours last season in BC.

Thanks! And yeah no doubt, always down to find new riding homies. I ride every single Saturday. That and when we close shop for a couple weeks around Christmas time I'm up there almost daily.

That's lame about your Contours. I've never been a fan of Contours mounts, I blew mine out first season and haven't used it since. I really want to get one of the new GoPro's though. Last season there was so many times that I wished I had a helmet cam on for the crazy happenings of the day.

I'm going to write contour and let them know. I've broke all the mounts I've ever bought from them. Both the ones I lost were on the helmet. The tether didn't suffice as a back up measure. I ride every Saturday as well, sometimes every Wednesday and as always without saying, I'm sick on POW days haha.

^ That looks like the last waterfall @ Stevens..yeah? Didn't like that hit this year. Was down with the first two but the third one was always so misleading. Either I'd haul ass and go suuuper high yet somehow still hit knuckle, or I'd overshoot it and blow my knees out. Lose/lose on that one this year.

Played disc golf at Stevens pass the other day. I would suggest massive amounts of bug spray and towel to swat all the bugs off with. Other than that awesome time. I plan on hiking to the backside this weekend in search of my contour

Yeah I refuse to hit it on my board. I always overshoot it on purpose and suck it up. Its easier to take the blow on skis. The view is quite spectacular up there I must say...usually get strange stares from people on the lift. Maybe they think I'm flying?
