Post GWU car show pics - GRAPHICALLY INTENSE!!

Well, in a effort to further reinforce the fact that I am way too old, fat, and just plain unhip to be driving a souped up import, I went down to the car show at GWU to, you know, shout out to the peeps and represent.

So check it:

Our challenger - Jeacra:

Some more subies representing - the RBP is 4wheeldrivin or something, didn't totally catch it. Behind that car is the aforementioned Jeacra RS and behind the a SRP WRX, which we won't mention until the essay has been submitted and approved:

Somebody from bigbirds posse or krew or whatever - didn't meet he guy, the entry form said Pirouz somebody or another:

bigbird's ride - look at that sunburst - you can almost hear it go BLING!

A picture of bigbird and a GIRL! Not definite proof that he actually likes girls, but certainly good circumstantial evidence:

Speaking of bling, this was the blingingest set of wheels out there:

Before some one yells the r i c e word, let it be known that this is a Cougar (and yes, that's that chameleon paint on it).

Aside from the Neons and the souped up little pickups and the drag Chevy II, pretty much what one might expect at an import car show - VeeDubs on dubs, wild and wacky Civics, full combat Preludes, and all manner of cars, including a 240 that had a really nice Skyline thing going.

The only thing I wish I had gotten a picture of that I didn't was a Civic that had apparently been designed to create diamonds from coal through sonic pressure - there was a slideout rack in the hatch with about 100 amps - no lie - and the front seats cocooned in speakers. The best part of the rig was that the hood was cut so that 2 hi-rise high-output chrome alternators could fit, and there was a cage around that welded to the hood (looked to be directly in the driver's line of sight, but driving was not the point of this car.

Enjoy!

I've seen that civic before at a stereo shop in rockville. That thing is ridiculous. Obviously not intended for driving at all, the pedals are about two inches from the seat. Did you also notice the separate briaded power cables to the alternators?

The silver RS with the Red stripe is one of the best subarus i have seen. I got to the show really late, at the very end. But to what people have told me and with the pics, it was a good show.

That's the one - I forgot about the windows being riveted down. See what I mean about an experiment in using sonic pressure to form diamonds?

So, for those who are new to the MidA hang, we have a standing Happy Hour/meet at Revolution Coffee Lounge in Herndon Friday nights at 630 ish - whoever gets there first claims the couches.

Sometimes even Justin [audience]ooooooo[/audience] comes on in!

My little brother and his firned were there (laylow). He told me about that crazy ace civic. My friend had decribed it to me once before. He lives out near that shop where the civic "lives". That thing is nuts. It's insane. Why? Whatever. Hope everybody had fun. I'm hoping to go to revo this friday. I think meet?

who owns the silver Rs with the red stripe?
Why does the stripe stop at the hood?
Don't get me wrong, I like it just wondering.
