Default Rare? Greddy exhaust axel back

Ok so currently I have a greddy spectrum elite axle back and after searching google and here and all the other forums for all other cars. I'm just now finding out that these seem to be discontinued or no longer made for subaru. I'm starting not to like the burnt tip on the black car. Just wondering if I was wanting to trade or sell this thing what's the want or demand? Does anybody have any clarification on this? Worth as used? It fits my car just fine so there's not stock fitment issues. Any info will work and thank you for the replies. Greddy website is below with the pics of what it looks like.

Thanks Scotty you usually rolleyes at me anyways. But I mean if someone would just put in what their opinion of what they might pay it would help me some. I'm not looking for prices to sell the thing, just opinions in what someone might. Looking for demand and to see if this is rare or it's a dime a dozen.

I'll give you $50. Not rare at all.

Or you could search the forums and eBay to see what other people are paying.

No used aftermarket part for a late model vehicle is considered rare or valuable. What you have is a used axelback for a late model Subaru .. not a rare factory option from a classic car.

I see these types of questions asked regularly on these forums. What world do you guys live in where anything from a friggin Subaru is considered rare or valuable?

They probably read the classifieds which have everything from shift knobs to seats listed as rare. In any case no it's not really rare. If you for some reason want to sell it then you sell it like anything else that is used.

If you take a picture with it on the car, I might be willing to trade you our Greddy SP2 catback for it. It's in regular used good condition. Stainless tip.

Ok well thank you for the responses. Again as in the title "rare" with a "?" meaning I was just trying to find out the info on this thing. It's not ME who thinks its rare or anything I was asking if it WAS because it was pretty hard to find the single burnt tipped for any subaru. I was hoping for some advice from some of the people who have been in this game for awhile. And maybe have seen these things come and go. As for the one person who said "not rare" thanks. I was only asking a question, and trying not to get bashed.

Did you see Zenki's post above yours? It appears you have someone interested in what you have.

02-03 Prodrive bumper is rare and valuable to many 02-03 owners....just sayin

parts off actual rally cars....valuable as well.

Colin McRay autographed items....valuable.

So "some" subie related stuff is rare and valuable.

Thanks for the interest on it. But if I do decide to to part ways with it. I'm looking or a louder one. This one you can't hear when idling just when you throttle it. Thinking a different brand than greddy.

Yeah your right, I forget about those ... some of the out of production body parts, and JDM body stuff, can be rare and worth decent money .. but that's about it. I guess when I hear someone ask if a part is rare or valuable, I immediate relate that with a car that is actually valuable ... like an 60's-70's muscle car or something, not a 2002 Subaru.

I don't consider collectibles as rare parts though ... they are only valuable due to the signature on them .. not the part itself.

rarity does NOT impart added value

the worth of ANYTHING is EXACTLY what somebody will pay for it at any given moment

the premise of this thread is erroneous

Ok Scott thanks I get that it's not rare. Simply saying it is not would suffice. Some items are rare if a small amount of items are produced. This "axel back" is not and we get it. Will I get top dollar for this no I get it. Just getting a feel if this is "sought" after because of its hard to find a website or anyone selling this item. Roll your eyes or not it's a valid question hence the "?" in the post title.

You know maybe I will get 500$ for the thing who knows. What's weird is how I see the no "n0000b" bashing section. Although my posts and status on this website says I am a beginner maybe I am not. Who are you to determine my intellect, kinda hard to tell over the Internet. And you don't even know me, so if you could Scott take your snide comments and keep them to yourself. As a moderator are you not suppose to "moderate" and not bash people who "you" determine to be "Subaru newbies"? Why are you basing intellect on how many posts somebody has. I'm sorry I have like 63,000 post less than you. It seems like as much as mods and gurus preach no bashing on here, it's not enforced whatsoever. It's like as soon as you guys find someone to unleash on you do. Like you take it out on people actually asking relevant information on something that you find un-amusing because your just sick of it. Well if your sick of reading these type things then stop reading them. Not everyone is going to be as "awesome" as Uncle Scotty and have all the knowledge. Some people come to ask questions and get information not to get in a pissing comp. if your going to claim to be a specialist/guru/moderator treat people with some kind of respect. Not lash out on them over the Internet because your life sucks and the person who posts the thread hits a nerve. Honestly a simple answer really helps. Not the typical :your retarded: :I'm a mod and ill ban you: a question is a question were not asking you to determine our life outcome based on our profile and posts. End of rant.

Guys! Guys! Guys!

Calm down!!!

My Internet penis is bigger than both of yours!!!

OP, sell it for whatever you want. Whatever people will pay for it. Put it up for $500 an start dropping prices til it sells.
Selling things is not rocket science like you're making it out to be.
