Take off your catback.

That'll get you to shoot flames.

Threads like this make Subaru owners look bad. Trade your Wrx in, buy a honda and go away.

keep a second fuel tank in your trunk. run a line from there into the exhaust tip with a small valve connected to an electronic switch you mount to the floor under your throttle pedal. When you go WOT, it opens the valve, allowing fuel to drop into the hot exhaust gases. Igniting them and shooting flames out the back.

Disclaimer: You are an idiot if you try to use this method. I made it up and pulled it out my back side. I will not be held responsible if you are dumb enough to do this.

In addition, you're the reason our insurance is so high.

get a blow off valve and run a little rich. get a catless up pipe and maybe get rid of the catted DP. when you run WOT and shift u should have a big back fire. Also, setup the launch control on the AP and when you are stopped, you can rev up to that point and the 2 step action should have you shooting flames

Unless you're a rally driver, flames shooting out of your exhaust is a bad thing. Even if you do manage to get afterfire, you're probably going to be close to WOT/redline, which is obviously terrible for your engine. You're basically sacrificing a $7,000 engine for some "sweet flames" shooting out the back to impress your friends.
Oh, and I'm guessing this will not be attempted on a track or closed course...so don't kill anyone trying to drive to work.

Is this "mod" to impress Civics or High School girls? Your answer determines mine.
